Taizhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone Passes National Official Acceptance

Warm congratulations on the Taizhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone, in the construction of which our company took part, passing joint acceptance. In the Taizhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone project our company was honoured to take part in the construction of the front-end interception area and the inspection and quarantine treatment area.

On 21 March the Taizhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone passed joint acceptance, marking its successful completion and readiness for operation. A joint acceptance team formed by seven ministries and commissions, including the General Administration of Customs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Taxation Administration and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, carried out the acceptance. After listening to reports, conducting on-site inspections and organising review, the team unanimously agreed that the infrastructure and supervision facilities met the acceptance specification and issued a certificate of acceptance.

A comprehensive bonded zone is the special customs supervision area with the highest level of openness, the most preferential policies and the simplest procedures in China. Taizhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone is the twelfth in Zhejiang Province. It was approved by the State Council on 9 December 2021, is located in the national-level Taizhou Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone with a total planned area of 1.77 square kilometres, and covers five functional blocks: port operation, bonded processing, bonded logistics, bonded research and development, and comprehensive services, with a planned total investment of about RMB 5.2 billion.
