Taizhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone Successfully Passes Pre-acceptance, Creating a New Window for Taizhou's Opening-up

Warm congratulations on the Taizhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone, in the construction of which our company took part, successfully passing pre-acceptance. This marks a phased advance in the construction of the zone and a key step towards national official acceptance and operation.

Taizhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone was approved by the State Council on 9 December 2021, is located in the Taizhou Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone, and has a total planned area of 1.77 square kilometres covering port operation, bonded processing, bonded logistics, bonded services and comprehensive services. Around the goal of the five major centres, it will develop processing and manufacturing, research and design, logistics distribution, cross-border e-commerce, testing and repair, and sales services, promoting the coordinated development of the 1.77 square kilometre core area and the surrounding 69 square kilometre extended area.

On 21 December 2023 Hangzhou Customs, together with the Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission, the Zhejiang Department of Finance, the Zhejiang Department of Natural Resources, the Zhejiang Department of Commerce, the Zhejiang Tax Service of the State Taxation Administration and the Zhejiang Branch of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, formed a joint pre-acceptance team to carry out pre-acceptance of the infrastructure and supervision facilities of the zone. The team inspected gate channels, isolation facilities, inspection sites, supervision warehouses, road facilities and information systems, watched demonstrations of continuous video surveillance without blind zones and simulated fence-touch alarms, and reviewed the relevant documents. The facilities were recognised as meeting the requirements, and provincial pre-acceptance was granted.
