Technology Empowers Smart Grain Storage: Intelligent Warehousing System Fully Implemented After Grain Intake

Food is the first necessity of the people, and safe grain storage comes first. Once grain has been loaded into the silo and the surface levelled, storage management enters its key stage. Technology is being used to build a firm line of defence for grain storage safety and to drive the transition from traditional manual management to digital, refined, green and safe operation.

Intelligent grain temperature measurement: round-the-clock protection of grain bulk temperature. The system consists of temperature measurement cables, high-precision temperature sensors, a control host and a visualisation platform. The cables run vertically through the surface, middle and bottom layers of the grain bulk and horizontally cover every area of the silo. It automatically collects grain and in-silo ambient temperature data 24/7, uploads it to the central control platform in real time and generates grain bulk temperature curves automatically, so that managers can see the temperature distribution of the whole silo on screen and quickly locate local hotspots and abnormal rises.

Intelligent pest and gas detection: multi-dimensional monitoring and early risk warning. As an important supplement to grain condition monitoring, the system combines pest monitoring with multi-component gas monitoring. High-sensitivity sensing modules capture pest activity signals in real time and dynamically monitor oxygen, carbon dioxide and, in particular, phosphine concentration during fumigation. Combined with grain temperature data it can judge pest trends in advance instead of reacting after an outbreak has occurred.

Circulation fumigation with intelligent phosphine equipment: green and efficient integrated pest control. The circulation fumigation system forms a closed loop that drives phosphine gas to flow evenly through the grain bulk and penetrate everywhere, solving the problems of uneven gas distribution and incomplete insect kill while reducing the quantity of fumigant used. Throughout fumigation, sealing and aeration, the phosphine concentration detector monitors gas concentration inside and outside the silo online, and the system regulates the circulation equipment according to the changing concentration, controlling fumigation duration and the aeration moment precisely.

Grain temperature measurement, pest and gas detection and circulation fumigation together enable unattended, intelligently controlled management of the whole post-intake process.
